Hola everyone in Convergence 2.0 I thought that I would open up this session and see what happens as our class begins to rant and rave....back and forth that is...for isn't that the reason why people blog in the first place? I am in fact just writing as a means to make the first mark upon this blog. Also may I mention that we now have a new student in the class. He goes by the name Jake Schwartz. He is a fun, high-energy and brilliant programmer who will add more flash no-how to the class. With that aside, I got the papers from the mailbox (in the art department) on Web 2.0, what is the assignment? Am I supposed to post on my feelings, I am confused...someone help me get my brain in order!!

Jake,

Kudos on activating a conversation for the class!

The assignment for Monday is to pick one of the Web 2.0 items on the big graphic layout from Time Magazine and explore it. Post your results and be prepared to present some info about it in the next class. And pick something that is a little less mainstream (ie. flickr over Amazon).

Make a post detailing the one that you'd like to research to "claim" it.
